First off, I am a single mother and needed a new car. I totaled mine out in September. So I had a friend that took me to Carl Gregory.
I looked at some Hyaundai(spelling?) And the GM Joe Martin came out and was hitting me. So I said hey I'll take advantage of this and talked him down on a 2006 v6-sunroof Sonata. I was going to get a 22,000 car for like 18,000. He claimed they took a $1000.00 loss on the vehicle. He made my payments exactly what I wanted and aeverything. I was excited.
So I go to leave and I didnt receive any papers. So I called up there for a couple days bugging him and finally they told me to come get my papers. So I go up there and get my papers saying the the Hyaundai co. financed my car for the 18,000 I agreed to, and it also showed my payments being $350.00 a month and the date my payments would start. So life goes on.
Well I put insurance on my car (that was ridiculous)and went to go get my tag 2 weeks later. Well the tag office said there was no record of a title on my car. So i call and call up to carl gregory and joe tells me that everything is ok. Come down to it, my car never got financed. I have papers and all proving all this. soooo after this month has gone by i went up there and told them they could keep the car, i couldnt afford the insurance(at $3500/6 months) . so they were going to put me in something cheaper.
Well they ran my credit through 5 DIFFERENT CO. that pissed me off and they ONLY way i figured that out was becuase I am now recieving letters from all these companies stating this.
SOOO then come the part of getting another car. I go to get a 2005 pacifica(well actually my parents do) after being there for 6 hrs. they have got a deal on the car. They said payments around 428. So my mom said ok. Well when it came down the the paper work, they wanted ME to sign. They put the car in my name instead of my parents. So I signed the papers- only to find out that there were no payments set up. We were told to go to another building to figure up payments.
So they told me 428 a month- ok well then they find out my mother was willing to do 450- so guess what , they made the payment 450 a month-funny huh? well anyway we have had so many issues with them in the past week trying to fix the tires on this vehicle. They are liars and scam artist. They did not even detail my car! WOW something huh? I know of 2 other people they have scammed.
I would NEVER IN MY LIFE USE CARL GREGORY for anything. I hope no one else does either. If you do, you will find out!
