I own a 94 Pontiac Formula. I have had to replace the distributer module twice already due to failure. I was told by the local pontiac dealerships that this was a bad design because it's suseptable to water, both from the weather and possibly from the water pump, which causes this part to fail.
I was also told that there is nothing I can do about it except replace it every time it goes out. Between parts and labor it costs an average of $1500 to replace. Too costly for me. I sure wish Pontiac would come up with a fix for this very defective part.
