In March Of "95" i Went to webb ford to purchase a new truck.I liked the very first one i looked at. so i test drove it around the block.The truck had 21 miles on it. On my way home from work, the very next day,my truck started making a strange noise and backfiring.i took it back that night and told the service manager my problem..they checked it out said it was the timing belt tensioner. so i left it over night.two days later when they finally got around to ...what they call servicing my truck ..i went back to pick it up..on my way home the truck did the very same thing,as it did the first time .i turned around and went back...i found the manager and demanded to talk to one of the owners of (THE WEBB BOYS)...of course none of the WEBB BOYS was there.so i proceeded to throw a fit right there on the showroom floor in front of all the other customers..well that got the managers attention.he quickly turned to my poor sales man and told him to give me his car..i kinda felt bad when the guy was taking the baby seat out of the back ..but then i thought no ..im paying 12,000 dollars for something ive had 3 days and only driven 25 minutes..well i had that guys car for 2 days when i got the call...its finished weve driven the truck everything checks out ok..so i go back up there...the truck ran fine for 2 more days...it did it again...i took it back..this time they had it for 21 days..i thought they were putting a new motor in it...finally i got it back...on my way home from work the very next day..beside the truck running the way it had originally ..like crap..i got pulled over buy the police because my paper plate had expired...i didnt get a ticket ...i told the officer my situation and he insisted i get the truck plated immediatly..so i did...the next day i called another dealership to schedule a service appointment...they looked me up in the computer and the manager told me "dont bring that thing up here" since i had complained to FORD MOTOR COMPANY so much.soi did the next bext thing i could think of...i took it to another dealership picked out another truck and traded in my lemon...without telling them anything...i just said i didnt want a stickshift and i wanted a red one...they bought it. very next day they had the old one on the lot ..wich only had 250 miles on it for sale for about 2000 more than i payed for it...i passed up that carlot for the next few days and noticed it was gone...all i can say is someone got in some big trouble over this whole thing ..because the next month i received an envelope from WEBB FORD with a check for the amount of my downpayment...now thats LEMONADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
