You may want to contact either FDIC or Comptroller of the Currency...they should be able to give you phone numbers of Executive Consumer Relations, like they provided for me yesterday. In my situation, I battled with the bank for almost a week and got nowhere, but as soon as I contacted Comptroller of the Currency and the Executive Consumer Relations number for the bank, I was immediately apologized to and the issue resolved within hours. The Executive Consumer Relations agent was APALLED by what had happened, where nobody at Bank of America regular Customer Service seemed to care or listen. You might want to give it a try.
