I have been on a prescription based acne medication for a while now and am having very good results with it. The only problem for me is that it is quite expensive.

I searched the internet for a while and came across a company called Exposed Skin Care (http://www.exposedskincare.com). According to them, they have a unique skin therapy system which consists of 6 different pieces each specifically designed to treat acne and they guarantee clear skin in 30 days.

I figured it wouldn't hurt to try their system, after all, if it indeed did work I would be able to stop my high-priced prescription medication and save a ton of money.

The I read about the Money Back Guarantee they offer:

Now that guarantee just suckered me in right there. I came to the conclusion that I have absolutely nothing to lose at all. If it worked, I would have been happy and started saving money over my prescription medication. On the other hand, if it didn't work I knew that they would honor their guarantee and I wouldn't have lost anything. Now how can you go wrong with that deal?

I purchased the Exposed Skin Care system right away. The package arrived and I used it for the first time right before I went to bed. Their products smell really bad but I held my breath and gave it a try.

When I woke up, my skin was very aggravated and itching. It actually made my skin break out and turn red. I didn't dare use it again and packed it right back into the box it came in and got ready to send it back.

I contacted Exposed Skin Care through e-mail. This company doesn't have any phone numbers or even a street address. All they give you is an e-mail address that they rarely reply to.

After about a week of e-mailing them daily, they finally replied and gave me a P.O. Box address to ship the products back to them. I shipped it the following day and waited for further instructions.

Another week has passed and I haven't heard from them yet. I e-mailed them again asking when I should expect my refund. No reply. They just keep ignoring every e-mail I send.

After about 6 more e-mails and another week of waiting, I received a reply to my e-mail telling me that I will received a refund within the next 48 hours.

I waited 6 more days, still nothing. I contacted them again, no replies as usual.

My experience with this so-called company has been an ordeal. There is no possible way for me to contact them other than e-mail which they only reply when they feel like it.

I have wasted a lot of time trying to get communicate with them and for them to honor their guarantee. They have obviously lied to me and are not an honest company.

An honest company wouldn't advertise a fake money back guarantee. An honest company wouldn't ignore their customers' e-mails. An honest company wouldn't lie to their customers. An honest company would do anything they can to make sure a person dealing with them feels satisfied.

Why do I feel like they let me down? Why do I feel like they left me in the dust? I have no phone number to call and no address to write to. All I have is a lousy e-mail address which they hardly ever reply to.

Come on now, it's been a frustrating number of weeks and still no refund or honest replies.

And I thought I was in a no-lose situation here. Like the old saying goes, if it sounds to good to be true, it's probably not.
