I went to your store today. I notice that in the back to school section you were selling Harry Potter books. I honestly thought a family friend store would not be selling these books. These books consist of satanic rituals and is written by a witch. These books have been banned by many churches and religious schools and libraries.

Please ban Harry Potter from your stores or I will no longer be shopping there.

You've GOT to be kidding.

Does this fictional childrens book have you questioning your faith? If not, give it up. It's called "using your imagination", just like the people who wrote the bible did.

You are they type of religious nut that gives all religious people a bad name.

Look... Please, please Do go and shop somewhere else. The embarrassment factor for Wal-Mart accepting your business just from this "report" alone would be incentive enough to ask you to just go away and take your self-righteous prattle with you.

Go hang out with the rest of the sheep... er, I mean "flock", drink some Kool-Aid and burn some books with like minds. I'm sure you'll be much happier. Besides, your report isn't even about a "rip off", it's more about how the world should bend to your will and as you envision it... or rather, are told to envision it.

FAIL.

Evil book.

You had better not let children read the bible then. It's full of fornication, adultery, murder, stoning to death, killing of woman and children, witches, turning people into pillars of salt (I bet Harry Potter couldn't do that) and, etc. etc.

Please keep little eyes from reading the bible. They might just learn how nasty people can be.

If you have a problem with any book, please don't buy it. I have a problem with religious and paranormal books so - I don't buy them.

I have no right to tell you what books to buy and you can not tell me what to buy or a store what to sell.

Go somewhere else.

Harry Potter is no Noah in an Ark

Stjohn1943 - Biloxi (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, August 23, 2009

Lets compare Harry Potter to Noah and the Ark story. (A mythological story at that.)

Noah. The first mention of Noah is one verse where God says to Noah, `Men are bad, and I want you to build a boat so I can kill all mankind.'

The verse says Noah was a Righteous person. But notice no mention of what righteous meant. No standards, no laws, nothing to indicate what people were to be doing or not doing. God did not give humankind a chance. Just wipe them out, he tells Noah.

What does Noah Do? He builds the Ark. No Questioning god, just does it like a little Nazi in Germany. Follow orders. He did not even bother to get a building permit or consult a construction engineer. No permit from the EPA. It did take 100 years to build his boat. I suppose it was his use of the unit called the `cubit' instead of the metric system.

Anyway, he builds his boat, packed it full of animals and his family. (Were they righteous like Noah, or did they get a 'get out of jail free card' by being related to Noah? (The good ole buddy system, it works every time.)

When the ark ran aground, Noah sent out a raven and a dove returned. What a miracle! When Noah got off the boat, among all the dead bloated bodies of the people God killed, Noah build an altar, sacrificed an animal and thanked God. (Was this an extra animal? If it was a clean one, he wiped out a species.)

At this point God repented and said he was sorry he killed the people and he would not do it again. He invented the rainbow.

Noah on the other hand, stomped some grapes and made wine. (Where did the grapes come from?) Noah got drunk, got naked and exposed himself to his son ham. Noah woke up and cursed Ham.

So there you have it. Noah was a Nazi, an accessory to mass murder, a drunkard, a sexual deviate, and a child abuser. And this is the guy who is called `righteous in the eyes of god' and we are supposed to be his descendants.

I think I like the descendant from the monkey theory better. The truth is, it is all God's fault.

Harry potter is a book of fiction for children's imagination. You must wear dresses down to your ankle to be against this book. There are more women reading this book than children. Now the Bible is a book of fiction that should be suppressed in public stores because they don't stock the Teachings of Buddaism, the Curan or other peoples religions. That is descrimination. Just like you trying to take one book out of a store. The family friendly store also carries guns, ammmunition, condoms, anal lube, sexual aids and other things and you want to talk about a book?

Grow up - Harry Potter is just a book and fiction at that - If you do not like the selection of books then just ignore them period

From a Wal-mart Employee that reads Harry Potter.

Mafiagodfather - Makham (Canada)

Yes there are other religious people like you who want Harry Potter banned and J.K Rowling burned at the stake.

Here is my experience from one of them.

Okay so all you fans know how the new movie for the book Half Blood Prince came out.  Well, I was reading the book again because I was seeing the movie so the craze for Half Blood Prince came out.(which would explain why the books were a feature display as the OP stated).  This was on a bus to work.(the place where the OP claims sells satanic books but another location).  Anyways this man who was quite nosy looked over my shoulders.  He saw the title of the book Harry Potter on the left hand page. I don't know about the US version, but the title Harry Potter is written on every left hand page.  So this man he sees this title.  The first words from the man were. "You are going to Hell."  I was like what.  Then he went to all this stuff telling me the devil wrote Harry Potter and I need to find Jesus.  From the way he smelled  and walked off the bus he probably found Jesus at the bottom of a beer can.

Ma'am, you need to put the stake down and bible, then step away from them slowly. My God! Your upset over a book? Here's a short piece of advice: No one has the right to tell anyone what they can and cannot read. It's called FREEDOM. It's called the right to allow perants to chose for themselves what is or is not alright for their OWN children. And the last time I checked, the government has not placed "allowing your kids to read Harry Potter" as abuse.
