I have had problems with Time Warner Cable since I moved to Charlotte in December 2006.

The picture on our TV is always freezing, the service tech came out and he said that we needed a signal booster because Time Warner installed the cable wrong at my apartment complex, Time Warner denies this but the signal booster helped the problem some.

Then the DVR kept saying that programs could not record because the channel wasn't available, but I would be watching the channel at the time, the service tech told us that everyone with this box had this problem, and all I needed to do was call customer service and have them send the patch to my box. I called customer service and they had no idea what I was talking about. They have sent service techs out and no one has tried to fix it, they just give me a different box with the same problem, I got 4 new boxes within 2 months. I still have the problem but don't want to change boxes anymore since they can't be bothered trasferring all the settings (recorded shows, scheduled recordings, and series recordings) to the new box. Which is not hard at all, it's just a hard drive.

Most recently, my cable has been going our at least once a week because of "outages in my area." Tonight, the cable was freezing all day and then at 9pm, I was unable to rewind, pause, or record. At 10pm I tried restarting the box and it has been stuck on "Ait" for 2 hours now. Also, I called customer service and the robot told me cable would be back up in 90 minutes. that was 2 hours ago, I just called again and it said 90 minutes still.

I've been having Time Warner credit my account for anytime that the cable goes out, even if it is just for a minute. You would think they would fix the problem.
