Why did you have to pay a deductible, if you were not at fault?
Did you file through your own insurance company?
If that person was found 100% at fault, you would not be required to pay a deductible, unless you went through your own insurance company and when your insurance company gets the money from the at fault parties insurance company, they refund you your deductible.
Deductibles are usually on Comprehensive and Collision, which repair your vehicle. If you had to pay a deductible, you were either at fault, you both were at fault, or you filed through your insurance company and not the other insurance company.
This seems a little wierd and I hope you can shed some more light on it for all of us because something is not right.
