I ordered parts based on the website stating that the items were in stock, and then I found out that they were not in stock. When I went to cancel the order I was told there would be a restocking fee - how can they restock something they didn't have to begin with? To make matters worse, the charged me shipping on items that never shipped! After dealing with their alleged customer service people, I was told that I wouldnt get my money back for almost 2 additional weeks because the person who handled the refunds was, "At a trade show in Chicago." When I let them know that I live 20 minutes from Chicago and would like to meet this person at this alleged trade show, they promptly hung up on me. I was fed up and went through my bank with documentation showing the lies of RPM Outlet (God bless email correspondence) and they found in my favor to get a chargeback for the full amount.
Unfortunately for me, RPM Outlet finally refunded the money, less the restock and shipping fees. Since they did that the bank reversed the chargeback, and I lost money. So over the course of 2 months RPM Outlet took my money, shipped nothing, and ultimately made money for doing nothing.
The complaints about RPM Outlet can easily be found on any search engine just by typing in "RPM Outlet." Don't let the alleged "Employee" who posted earlier fool you - they have ripped off many people and their customer service is non-existant.

On the 30th I came home to find a box on my porch. Well, I suppose it was a box at some point.
UPS delivered a blob of cardboard that was loosely held together with bits of clear packing tape. Keep in mind that a set of exhaust pipes should weigh in at about 70-90 pounds. This box looked like it had been run over.
The end of the box was torn open and pieces of bent and dented pipe were sticking out. The other end of the box looked like it had been opened several times and then just sealed again with tape. ALL of the seams in the box had been opened at one time (the staples were no longer a part of the box, but the holes were there).
I called UPS immediately to make a claim. They asked me to take pictures so they could determine the extent and fault of the damage.
I took pictures of the box and then opened it. ALL of the hardware is missing, the instructions are gone, several parts are missing and most of the pipe ends are bashed, scraped and completely unusable.
It is obvious to me what happened with this box. IT WAS A RETURN that someone else had sent back to RPM Outlet. They simply threw a little tape at it and sent it to me without even bothering to check to see if the contents were all in the box. The box split open due to the poor packaging that RPM had done and the contents were completely trashed. UPS would have had to run over this, taped it back together, and then run over it again for this sort of condition... unlikely.
I have been trying to contact RPM for 3 days now and they just hang up on me or give me bad information. One person I spoke to on Friday said that they would be sending me a new set today. I called today to confirm and they said they would never promise such a thing since I would need to return the first set (shipping at my expense), they would need to receive it and charge me a 15% restock before they would send me a replacement. I am speechless. They want to CHARGE me for sending me defective merchandise. These guys are LIARS and CHEATS.
Oh, and to top it off they have closed all of my support tickets and requests without responding to a single one of them, and their online support simply tells me that I have to ask for a return - for which I will be charged that 15% restock even if I am reporting damaged goods.
I have emailed at least 50 times and left dozens of messages for these guys and they just ignore me.
I am unable to believe this ridiculous behavior.
I would have been willing to remove this complaint if they had delivered the goods as promised, but they send me used, returned, defective JUNK and are still lying to me. AAAAAAARGH!

We here at RPM Outlet work very hard to try and keep all items in stock and shipped to the customer in a timely manner. We also have a newly reconstructed customer service department ready to handle any issues that a customer may have. However, as found with all buisnesses, considering the high volume of orders coming in and going out, there is bound to be a few unsatisfied customers. We do strive for total customer satifaction, and work very hard to resolve any issues a customer may have. For every dissatisfied customer there are a thousand satisfied customers. Unfortunately, there are little or no forums or websites designed for people to post positive information. Don't take their word for it, come and find out for yourself how wonderful RPM Outlet is for your aftermarket performance car needs.

They have redesigned their "customer service" allright. They now won't deal with you at all. I also bought a part based on what their website incorrectly listed as being for my car. They were wrong, they corrected the website and then they left me hanging with a $300 part that I can't use. They will tell you anything to get your money, then leave you charge you a restocking fee and shipping both ways for their mistake. I didn't even get the opportunity to even return the product at a loss.
