Having read the postings on this topic I feel the need to tell my story. I am another individual who worked at sms.ac for a short period of time. I have seen the scam they do first hand. They manipulate data, they distort the truth, they sucker decent honest people in to working for free. Some of the people there have been working for years for nothing. Most of them don't understand the stock option situation and the fact that they'll get nothing.

Having worked in other start-ups, I managed to quickly assess the scam and bailed out. But it took a lot of persistance to get the actual data. Pousti wasn't forthcoming with any of it.

Make no mistake about it. Posti has perfected the art of the scam. He is a confidence trickster. He tells a great story and you believe he's just a short guy with a lot of drive. His run in with the US Postal service is indicitive of the type of guy that he is. His spin on collegeclubs.com is another one. He ran the company into the ground, spending money like it was going out of fashion. He was fired and the company was sold in a fire-sale.... not exactly the story he tells in his bio. If you don't believe me ask the VCs who invested in it. Or better yet ask any VC in San Diego what they think of this scam. There's a reason they don't have proper VC funding. Smart money doesn't invest in scams like this. You have been warned.

Chris McKibben appears to be a god guy, but has been suckered into this whole thing. He's not smart enough to realize what's going on and he follows Posuti like a lap-dog. He'll look back at this in a few years and realize what an idiot he was to put his reputation on the line for nothing. Chris, wake up and smell the coffee. Get out of there.

Brandi Williams is coy. She's in this as deep as Pousti. She's an acomplice. Certainly not a victim.

Their database is largely inactive. The churn rate on their service is huge. But SMS.ac never counts people who signed on once and left. So their database keeps growing. The only thing that's impressve is the number of people they have reached once or twice.

But undertand its not viral. For this to be a viral service churn rates should be low and stickiness should be high. SMS.ac has the exact opposite traits. They have a database of phone numbers. That's it.

The SMS messages you receive from girls trying to flirt with you are really SMS workers trying to create demand.

The messages from people in the chat groups are made up to make money.

Don't be a fool people. Walk away.

My name is hidden because I too can't afford to get sued by them for telling he truth. But rest assured sms.ac, if you want to come after me, I have many emails, spreadsheets and reports that can back up everything I say. I was smart enough to keep a backup in case things went sour. I have not distributed it to anyone as I would consider that unethical. But I will use it if I need to.

Speaking of investors. What about creditors who were left high and dry during Pousti's "spending frenzy"?

All of the listed companies and people have filed claims against collegeclub.com since they went bankrupt. I made a report with court cases about SMS.AC and you can see that people are complaining that SMS.ac is not paying people or companies either. So this collegeclub.com information is relavant. Just click the search button above to find my report.
