In July of 2006 I ordered Sprint service on line. I talked to one of their representitives before I ordered. He said we could try Sprint for 30 days to see if the service would work in our area. If we weren't satisfied for any reason we could return the phones and cancel service and owe nothing. I printed the Terms of service and the 30 day Guarantee off of the internet.

When the phones came in, we tried them out. As long as we were on major highways we had ok service. We live in a rural town and we couldn't get service on rural roads and even traveled all the way down towards Central Texas and got no service.

So I called on August 6, 2006 and told Sprint representitive that we wanted to cancel our service. I explained why and she said they would send return kits so we could return our phones and that we wouldn't owe anything unless we went over our minutes. She canceled our service right then. I finally after calling three different times, received the return kits and returned the phone.

Then in October, we started getting phone calls saying we owed Sprint nearly $700.00. We explained everything, and the operator said they would submit it to a supervisor to credit it to our account so that we would have a $0 balance. I called back a few days later, and it wasn't credited, but the lady (her name was Brittney)said it would be off within 6 hours.

Needless to say we started getting numorous phone calls demanding the we pay this account and each time it was a different amount ranging from $550-$800. We asked to speak to a supervisor. They gave us to Ardis, the supervisor on duty. We explained all this AGAIN!!! This time Ardis said if we would agree to pay $74 for the 3 weeks that we had the service they would clear our account and we wouldn't have to deal with them again.

Well we didn't hear anything until January 2007. This time from RPM collection agency. I talked with Jaime and told her the story, and she said to mail in any documentation I had and a letter refuting the claim. I sent this in and called her back and she said it usually takes 30 days to get it cleared up. I called back in 30 days and talked to a man this time and he rudely told me that I needed to pay this. I told him we were going to contact our attorney to file a suit against Sprint. He told me that in the contract "I signed" that if I filed a lawsuit against Sprint, then they could sue me. I told him that I never signed anything. I ordered it thru a sprint representitive online for a trial period and therefore I didn't sign anything. He hung up.
I didn't hear anything else from them.

Then on Monday June 12th, we get a call from Allied Interstate Collection for Sprint. Saying we owe over $700. When we try to call sprint we can't talk to anyone. As soon as we enter the phone # it saids no one is available to take you call. We are so frustrated...
