On October 10, 2008, I dropped off 3 pairs of dress pants and 1 dress shirt to be dry cleaned. On October 17, 2008, I went to pick up my items with my receipt. After 30 minutes waiting inside, one of the owners (Joe) came up to me and said they could not find my clothes. I left, he said he would call me and update me about where the clothes were. After several says and several trips back and forth to the cleaners, Joe finally told me that he gave my clothes to another person with my same last name but with no claim ticket. Then a few days later, he called me and said that the person dropped off 2 pairs of my pants (Dirty and streched out) and said here you go...I complained to him and said you need to clean these, then I pciked them up the next day to only find them in poor condition and not the way I left them. After that, I asked how I can file a claim and get my money back. He only said that I was entitled to $40.00 since the dry cleaning bill was on $4.00 and that there ticket states that they will only pay 10 times the money they charged you to dry clean. My clothes which were brand new cost me over $300.00 and he wants to only pay me $40.00. At no time did he try to make it up to me, or say he was sorry for my loss. I have been going to this cleaners for a very long time and this is how you treat a long time client? I would avoid this place and stay away from someone that cannot take responsiblity for their actions!
