Student experience with the educational system deals strictly with economics. Students go to college to get a degree so they can chase the carrot, claiming a degree will create a higher salary opportunity. Colleges holding the carrot lure students supporting the same claim. It is all about the money.
The only person really interested in your education is you. If a student goes to college and does not learn anything that might mean that they already know it all. If that is true, then why go to college? Somewhat ridiculous to spend time and money on nothing!
Colleges are a business; they are in it for the profit, nothing more, nothing less. Teachers are in it for the paycheck. Maybe there are a handful of teachers that actually enjoy teaching; I am not one of them. Students are there for the carrot. Students at least must read the book; they can play, socialize, sing and dance, but the book must be read. However, there are many students that actually want to learn.
College is not to teach students anything, but maybe the value of the carrot. College directs students to the information; just like taking a horse to a pool of water. If students want to learn about the profession they are seeking then they need to absorb the information. No one can make students absorb; that is a process they must want to do.
Silly, silly you for not applying the effort to absorb! Quitting is not an option
