A little tip for people who are not getting these cards, be persisant. Last week I finally decided to take some action and I contacted my sponser and let them know what was happening, then of course I posted to the Rip-Off Report and finally I called the NIFB (National Internet Fraud Bureau) and filed a report against yourgiftcards.com, and then sent a copy of the report to them. I did get a call from then telling me they would expedite my card to me last week. Well I did not get it so I called and spoke to a customer service representive and told her my intention to call NIFB and have them pursue this as a fraud, she was very responsive and offered to send me another Type of card which they Expidited. They offered me a Red Lobster, Macies or Block Busters card my choice because they do have those in stock.
I am a sales manager for a very reputable auto dealer here in greater Los Angeles area. At another one of our dealerships we used this so called promotion to help get customers in the door. The products offered by selectyourgifts and or American Sales Gifts were garbage and a big fraud and in most cases the gifts would not materialize and when they did, they were not what was represented. When our customers would call customer service, they just got a long run-around.
One other dealer that we did business with also had problems with selectyourgifts - American Sales Gifts and they threatened them with posting an Internet website with negative comments about their dealership if they were ever found to say anything bad about them! This scam needs to be stopped. The complaints on this site seem to tell the story about this company. Must be everyone is a liar posting on this site? Don't think so. They are featrured all the time here in LA using victims of all kinds of scams.
WHAT THIS COMPANY IS SAYING, THEY ARE MUCH LIKE A, "STREET CORNER VENDOR AND/OR A VENDOE AT A SWAP MEET," SELLING PRODUCTS FROM A THIRD PARTY.
They say that they have (NO CONTROL) of the items and/or systems. Translation, Select Your Gifts/American Sales Gifts is not responsible in any way if the 3rd party vendor not wish to honor their day to day warrrany on their products offered by SELECT YOUR GIFTS aka: SELECT YOUR GARBAGE.

FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE CONSUMER PROTECTION DIVISION IN YOUR STATE. LET THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY FIGHT FOR YOU WITH OUT PAYING ANY LEGAL FEES AND MAKE SURE TO REQUEST RESTITUTION.

We feel the dialogue between the customer and the auto dealers is healthy and educates both the customer and the dealers.
