A young lady by the name of Amanda Hood with CoWright Sales sold me a magazine subscription of Ebony on Fedruary 20, 2001. The cost of the magazines were $32 plus $8 processing fee. It looked legit. I wrote her a check for $40 and it cleared maybe 5 days later. There's a website and address for this company. "What could possibly go wrong about this", I thought. The receipt said allow 90 to 120 days for delivery. I did think that was a little too long, but I could always contact someone if I did not receive the magazines. Well, it is now October, 2001 and I still have not received my magazine subscriptions.
I have tried to contact the Palmetto Marketing company through directory assistance. No listing. I also went on line with the National Field Selling Association. I emailed them a "nasty-gram" along with my receipt. It came back to me as "Undeliverable". The email address on the website no longer exists. So now I'm just SOL. I guess I'm a sucker for helping people.
