This evening I received a call from one Chris Torti of IBD Marketing in response to online response I had made to their ad. He offered to sell our timeshare, with diparaging remarks about agenc we previously contracted with, and assurances that his company had "only 2 complaints in 7 years in business>" He made an offer re a price for our timeshare. When I told him I would have to talk to my husband, he said he would call back at 7 p.m.
In the meantime, I went online, first to the BBB with no results, so I went to your site, because I'd gotten help with another scam I fell prey to before. Sure enough, I found complaint of similar, but more stressful encounter. Guess what, I think Mr. Torti suspected I'd do some research, for he has not called back.
Thank you for this site. This is one more reminder to us all that we need to make them all wait for us to check them out,and check them all out without fail.
