In early March, 2005, I was contacted by the Regional Vice President in Oklahoma City who had been "given my resume'" and was contacting me about an interview for their "Marketing Division". I went in the next week for the first interview, then my husband and I were "invited" back for the "interview" on Thursday night. When we walked in and realized what was going on, we should have left, like we saw others do. But we stayed, and listened, and asked questions, and heard others ask questions that were never fully answered.

Now, I'm trying to get back the money I paid to get licensed, since we discussed it more afterwards and decided not to do it. First I contacted the Regional VP, who turned me over to another guy whose "team" I was on. The second guy said he would "take care of it". After waiting almost 3 weeks, I contacted him today to find out where it stood on my refund, and he said "you need to call the corporate office". I've now placed three calls and sent a fax making a written request for my money.

I should have know better than to even THINK something like this was a good thing, but I would have thought when I requested a refund, they could have been honest with me from the beginning and told me I had to go through the corporate office. Instead, I've waited all this time for nothing. It just makes me glad that I never gave them a list of people to contact!

If anyone from Primamerica contacts you, BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID!

Primerica - fighting to get my money back!

Today, I got a phone call from the lady at the corporate office who handles the refunds of the licensing fees. She told me that a Mastercard number was submitted with my paperwork and it was denied. The interesting part? I DON'T HAVE A MASTERCARD! I PAID WITH CASH! Which, Jay Wright didn't seem to have a problem accepting! Not once, did he say that they don't accept cash at the corporate office. If he had, I would have paid with a money order! Then at least I would have had some proof! So, now I have to get my money back from Mr. Wright! I've placed a call to him, which went directly to his voicemail, big surprise. And I've called the guy whose "team" I was put on, he's "checking with so and so and will call me back".

I'm almost tempted to show up at their "class" tonite! If Mr. Wright is making so much money, then he shouldn't have a problem paying me back MY MONEY!!!!!!!

I'm getting my money back

I just received a call from Jay Wright. Apparently he'd forgotten that I had paid him cash. He's giving back the entire $200 instead of just the $160, since they keep $40 which is non-refundable. He doesn't want me to have "a bad impression." Too late for that.

I'm grateful I'm getting my money, but I'll NEVER do business with Primerica in ANY form.

Happy to hear that you got your money back, and didn't get sucked to far into the pyramid (they like to brainwash). Being a ex-agent myself I know Primerica's policy on summiting IBA's and they are NOT allowed to accept cash at all!!! It has to be check, money order, or credit card ONLY! Now I don't know this guy, or care to know him, but what I think might have happened is that he took your money, and used his credit card, but since he works at primerica you know he's broke so the charge didn't clear. Anyway you should be raising some serious hell about this with corporate, and demand that action be taking to hammer this primerica village idiot!

Keep us updated, and best of luck.
