Elaborate Scam operation - You send a photo to enter into a contest. Next thing you know, the company sends you a letter stating the the Selection Committee has advanced your contest entry to the semi-finalist in the International Open Amateur Photograpohy Contest. They also send you info that the photograph will be published in a book "Endless Journeys" ISBN #0-7951-5247-7 and will be scheduled for publication Fall of 2007.

The book which you can purchase through their company is $69.95 plus an additional $25.00 if you want to add the Artist's Profile to a special section of the book. Endless Journeys has been in publication for at least 5 years now. Plus the ISBN # is not found anywhere when doing a search.

Next thing you know you get an email from The International Society of Photographers telling you that your photo will be shown at the next convention and that you can receive awards totaling $169.00 plus postage & handling.

Beware and DO NOT send any money to these people. They are misleading, deceptive, and totally misrepresent their company. And they do an injustice to the real photographers association that known photographers are members of.

They are also known as the International Society of Poets where you can enter your poetry for contest. Don't get scammed!! Be aware - check out anything that asks you for money. If you actually had really won, they should be paying you for the use of your photograph.
