I went for thier bull shit lies at the start just to establish better credit ,I got a low limit card with the promise the limit would be raised If the payments were payed on time for six months, Well that went by and I called to see about an increase of limit they said the company changed hands and it would be another six months,well I was stupid enough to go for it.
after that six months ,still no raise on the limit ,I called to cancel my account they said no problem just pay the remaining ballance in full and it would be done I paid it to them right then by phone check, A month later I got a late fee for that payment
When I call them to get them to send me Itemized statments of any charges that I made on thier card they hang up the phone on me ,When I send a written request They allways say they never recieved it,
They turned it over to NCO collections and after a year of them harrassing me I finally gave in just to get them off my back ,Remember this has been two and a half years No lawyers would touch it.so I agreed to a settelment of 50% in three installments on certain dates they took the payments from my bank account then later said the bank checks bounced ,thats bull my bank says otherwize this is still up un the air ,
SO IF YOU WANT A CREDIT CARD GO ANYWHERE BUT CAPITAL ONE YOU WILL GET SCREWED .You can bank on that.
