Fleet Credit Card Service ripoff Money Scam Wilmington, Delaware

Fleet Credit Card Money Scam: Fleet CC just raised my interest rate because they said I had some accounts on my credit report that were at their highest level and also I had late payments on my account. When I called Fleet they said that it was on one certain account and I said but it was two years ago. He then said that it was still on my credit report.

My question is if this was the reason they raised the interest rate then WHY did they wait until two years later to do this. I think it was to get more money out of me because I was paying down the credit card. I told him what I thought Fleet was doing was a scam because they saw that I was not only paying my required balance, but doubling it so that I could pay off the card and that this was one way they could find to get more money out of me. I do not have any late payments, only the ones two years ago. They could not find any other reason to get more money out of me so they chose this one.

This company is a rip off and I want to tell everyone "Buyer Beware!"
