Received and official-looking mastercard statement with a card number I have never heard of. The statement said Kenneth R. Gatten 1st (which is ridiculous -never have been addressed this way).

Says I have a balance of $213.00 -no list of what was purchased or what the charge is for. There is a late fee of $35.00 for a card I have never heard of. Can they get away with this? They have even threatened legal action. Who the hell are they and where did they get my information?

And get this....this is the first of anything I have seen like this and of the $213.00 balance they say I owe, $109.00 is the "minimum" due. Then on the back of their statement is a phrase of "thank you for choosing Merrick Bank"! Guess what ? - I Didn't ! !!
