SouthTrust Visa's billing structure and compounded interest rate is
basically usury. When you call to see if the banks can get away
with what they are doing...the Better Business Bureau said "It is
not illegal". The minimum payments that they set do not cover
interest alone on the amount of principle you have, and fees are
applied to your account before you ever get your bill. They call
your house repeated even if you make regular monthly payments. And
they send you threatening letters.
