I have found that since I ordered my free credit report online, I was charged $9.95 a month from two different "credit managers". I was told by both places that I agreed to the terms for my free credit report that I am guaranteed each year. If you want the free credit report for each of the 3 agencies that is yours to get each year, you must agree to the terms to get it and that costs you $9.95 a month.
How is it a free report if I have to agree to remember to cancel a subscription that I did not want nor ask for and have to pay for that every month. They never put the whole phone number on the bank statement and I had to have the bank go through all of their records to get the phone numbers.
CIC CE Credit Manager is Experian. and their phone number is 877-481-6826
MNI *CREDIT SERVICES is creditreport.com. creditreport.com says they are all three of the credit bureaus. If they are, why did Experian charge me for the same report then??? Their phone number is 800-720-4420
This happens every year. I am getting really tired of this. I am a soldier mobilized for war and I get the credit report every year to get new addresses of my creditors and to dispute things on them. I have had several things put on my credit reports since being mobilized to active duty under Title 10 of the USC. I know the Soldiers/Sailor Act tells them they cannot do this and wait for me to be mobilized then take me to court. The credit agencies still will not take these things off.
