First Data Global Leasing - first Data Merchant Services - first Data Commercial Services dis-honest and un-cooperative as well as rude and threatening Coral Ridge Florida

I have a town car service and needed a wireless terminal to do credit cards on the fly. My bank put me on a third party lease with first data global services and provided me with a cc machine. When you sign up with Wells Fargo Merchant Services its a hurried process and I did not read the lease closely. I regret that now.

After 6 months of paying what I thought were excessive fees to both Wells Fargo and FDGL, I changed banks. When I called FDGL to find out where to ship their machine they said they didn't own the machine; they just made it possible for me to lease the machine and that I owed them 24 payments at $60.56.

As that comes out to $1453.44 for a $500 machine, I felt that I was being taken advantage of. My new bank says the machine won't support their program because of cell tower issues and they won't try to download to it. I explained this to an FDGL representative on the phone and he told me if I didn't pay them they would ruin my credit so I left the account open and every month I have to put money in it to pay the lease.

This eats all the savings that changing banks resulted in. When you call these people they are rude and threatening. You almost get the feeling that they are mafia owned.

If you require a wireless terminal to do business. don't deal with Wells Fargo because they will sell your machine lease to these people and you won't know it until you have problems. There are at least two companys involved here. First Data Global Leasing and First Data Merchant Services. Do not do business with either one of them or Wells Fargo Merchant Services.
