Just recently, I was contacted by All Seasons Travel, telling me I was chosen to receive this “wonderful” vacation package, by a ballot I filled out at a convention. The sales person went over the vacation package so fast that I couldn't even write it down. When I asked him to slow down, so I can jot down the highlights of the package, he said not to worry and that all that information will be given to me in the mail. He quickly added at the end that it will only cost me $698 USD, just a small promotion free due that day. I have never heard of anything about this in the past and the convention I attended was reputable, so I figure this couldn't be a scam. I gave him my visa and he “Welcomed me a board”. I had a bad feeling about it as soon as I hung up. So I called back to ask more questions. What do you know, the 1-800 # just kept ringing. Not even a voice mail. Now when I look back I can picture this guy working out of an old abandon warehouse. Also, during our conversation I remember his cell phone going off 2-3 times during our conversation; He would put me on hold every time I asked him a question about the company and the details of the “promo fee”. He did all the talking and wasn't concerned if I had any questions. The only time he asked me a question was if I give him authorization to charge my credit card. I mentioned to some friends about this vacation package, they all told me it was a scam. I started to look it up on the internet and found this forum. I immediately cancelled my credit card and called All Seasons Travel for a refund. Here's where they showed their TRUE colours. When I called for a refund I was almost harassed to give them a “VALID” reason for the refund. I said I wasn't going to travel and I didn't want the vacation package anymore. Daniel Mathews (sales agent) INSISTED I give him a better reason. In fact, he started to raise his voice telling me he will not give me a refund until I give him a better reason than “I'm not going to travel”. I couldn't believe the treatment. These people are only out there for your money. I asked MULTIPLE times “Can I get a refund? Yes or No?” He said “Yes” they do give refunds, ONLY if the reason is valid. Who are they to judge what valid or not? I can say I was dying and had only a week to live, would that be valid enough? Would they need doctor's note? They can't prove anything. I was so angry. I held my ground and told him since they give refunds; it's my right to get my money back. Finally, Daniel Mathews said he would give me my refund back because “WE DON'T WANT YOU IN FLORIDA ANYWAY!!” I was so shocked he actually said that. Daniel Mathews, of All Seasons Travel, had just encompassed the whole company as disgustingly rude money grabbers.
Whether or not All Seasons Travel is really a scam or not, their complete lack of professionalism and respect shows the tall tails of one. Even if this vacation package would have been a “Wonderful” vacation package at such a low cost, I would never give anyone business who treats people like garbage. I will make sure I will tell ALL my friends and families about my bad experience with All Seasons Travel and ask them to spread the warning…
One thing I can thank All Seasons Travel for is that it was a good lesson. And that their company is run by a bunch of jerks only trying to get their hands in your pockets.
PS. I'm referring www.allseasonstravelandresorts.com [1140 Hammond Drive Suite A1110 - Atlanta GA Tel: 800-231-3760] (used to be www.aseasonstravel.com), not to be mistaken by other traveling agencies with similar names.
PPS. If you are caught in this situation, just remember, you ARE INTITLED TO A REFUND from All Seasons Travel. They might be rude and insist you keep the package or might even try to entice to you keep it by adding more to your vacation package. But, as far as I know, I got my refund and so should everyone else. (Unless they changed their policy and have the nerve to just take your money and run...)
