I would like to start out by saying that I have known James Howard “Hal” Butler President/CEO of Medical and Actuarial Innovations or Resources for over 20 years.  I was actually a business partner of his when he started up our company called Med-Dent Partners in Resources.  From what all I have read it is only fair that I share my story with everyone interested.  If you research Hal Butler and the many different businesses that he has had in the past and the numerous partners you will see that he has taken several people for a lot of money, (myself he took for $10,000.00) and his advertisement for an Entry Level Assistant Actuarial Analyst Position is yet another way for him to take people’s money.  He advertises for a position that he has this much of the con is true what he isn’t telling you is that you have to have at least two exams passes in order for him to put you to work not one like he suggest.   If you don’t believe what I am saying then call the only company that he has a contract with which is BPM&S and ask how many exams are required in order to be considered for a position that may or may not be open at the moment.  Hal Butler will tell everyone who interviews with him that he is working with several different companies but this is a lie.  People do the research on all companies hiring Assistant Actuarial Analyst in the Nashville or Brentwood areas and see if anyone is looking to fill these positions.

Also, you should be warned once the classes are over Hal Butler is even more difficult to locate than before the classes start, not only for the students but the teacher as well, partly because he never wants to pay them in full.

But don’t be discouraged Hal Butler is as much of a fraud in the Medical field as he is in the Actuarial field.  Look up how many times different companies have sued him in the past 20 years over fraudulent business practices.  But never fear you might have to look up some of his AKA names like Luke Barnes or my favorite Joe Slappy.  If there is a way for Hal Butler to get around the system he will.  I took him to court to try and recover some of my loses and got a judgment against him but never got reimbursed why because he would dissolve whatever business name he was using at the time and change it just so I couldn’t get my money back.  I went into business with him under good faith as a friend well he turned out to be just as bad of a friend as he was a business partner.  When our partnership ended he was having an affair with the receptionist who went right alone with his con by telling everyone that she had been doing this for the past several years when that was all part of the con as well.  So anyone applying for receptionist positions with Hal Butler beware that is a con too!  Because all he is after is a little fun until he can find his next victim.

It’s been 8 years since I was in business with Hal Butler and never got reimbursed back any of the money that was owed to me how long do you think it will take for you to get your money back from this class that is even if he can place you?
