My wife and I got the CD and, yes, there is alot of info there that many of us are already aware of. The point they want to make is that even though we all have this basic knowledge about managing our money we still get into trouble financially and need help getting out of debt. IFR needs to know exactly where you stand so they need all your debt/income/IRS figures AND anytime you are receiving financial counciling, the service MUST speak to both the husband and wife. It only makes sense. The interview/consultation took over an hour and it really turned the lights on, so to speak, about our situation and made us resolve to make a more valient effort towards money management and working towards debt freedom. Hey, just my $.02.

Operation Telephony in May, 2008 singled out this company for questionable business practices.
Does anyone know the result of that action, or could Mr. Hollister respond, as to why his company was singled out by the Federal Government.
It seems the company is still in business, but there are many questions about this company, and Mr. Hollister your company seems to be controversial at the least.
Mr. Hollister what was the result of the FTC's action against your company? Why would the FTC single you out for any type of action?

Dear "Justice Once and For All,"
I appreciate your diligence in wanting to work with a legitimate company, and/or taking steps to prevent others from getting involved with something "shady."
Unfortunately, in this case your research is flawed. The reason I say unfortunately, is because your comment is now likely to cause many people who sorely need our help, undue concern about our organization. There are many companies with similar names. I am at the helm of Integrity Consulting Co. and Integrity Financial Resources. Contrary to your claim, there are no actions or controversy surrounding our company.
A quick search on the FTC website (www.ftc.gov) shows me that you've clearly mistaken us for Integrity Financial Enterprises. WE ARE NOT THIS COMPANY, nor is there any connection or relationship. I am not familiar with the nature of this company, or the allegations or actions against them.
Integrity Financial Resources enjoys a stellar reputation and we will always endeavor to keep it that way. Our name was chosen because it represents who we are. Our mission is to be a blessing to all we come in contact with, and by keeping that in the forefront of our minds and daily activities, we should NEVER find ourselves in a situation such as you've described.
Respectfully,
Dan Hollister
President

I heard from the company today, July 14, 2008. I was told they were unware that I had asked for my refund, as it had not been reported, and they also ask for the name of the consultant that had talk to me so disrespefully. I was able to find my notes and give that name. I was told that they would issue me a credit today. As of 3:26 EST per my on line banking I had not seen that credit but feel that it will come through as promised. Either way I will be back on line to let you guys know. The Manager that contacted me was professional. Also said that if I wanted a personal consultation they would be glad to still do that with someone with a more professional attitude than that I had experienced. So, this might just of been a bad apple.

Hi, this is Dan Hollister, founder of Integrity Financial Resources. Sharon has been refunded. Integrity would never, ever refuse to honor a promise. Unfortunately, we were completely unaware that we had an unhappy client, or that she desired a refund. A reader of this website was actually kind enough to email us a copy of this post and alert us to the situation.
This allowed us to immediately get in touch with Sharon and refund her purchase price. I think after a conversation with one of my representatives, that Sharon is now quite happy with us, and I hope to see a post from her indicating as such.
While I am absolutely appalled at the things Sharon had to say here, I've not yet had opportunity to fully investigate her story. I am certainly NOT saying that Sharon has lied--I have no doubt she shared accurately what her perception was. I will say, however, that the experience she has described bears absolutely no resemblance to what our company is all about.
The company is named Integrity for very strong reasons, and we are extremely passionate about them. We've helped many, many people to completely change their financial lives for the better. We always honor our word...ALWAYS. Nothing is more important to me than my relationship with my Savior, my family, and my personal integrity. My team knows very well where i stand and are also passionate about the way we do business and always treat people right. Our company's mission is to be a blessing to all we come in contact with.
Clearly something completely baffling and absolutely uncharacteristic of our organization has occurred here, and I'd like to publicly apologize to Sharon and all of our clients in this posting. This certainly sounds like we initially fell very short of our goal of being a blessing to Sharon. I have no idea how this happened, but I will find out and I will act on it. There is absolutely no excuse for what Sharon says happened with our company. Thank you very much to the reader who kindly alerted us to the situation. Since all we had to work with was this post, we actually went through all our records to pull up the file of every Sharon in Knoxville, and began making phone calls to determine who our unhappy customer was. In this way we were able to find her relatively quickly and make sure she was immediately taken care of. If somehow we're not helping someone change their life for the better...we certainly do not want or deserve their money.
With respect to her thoughts on the program she purchased from us, let me simply share another client's point of view--which is far more typical of the feedback we tend to receive:
"You are so right, Dan Hollister. The simplicity and powerful message you have on your cd is the best investment I've made in myself in a long time. It is with great pleasure that I endorse your program. I am happy to get renewed in my belief in myself, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I've missed the simple yet powerful truths you so eloquently put forth in your cd program."
"The math, I get, and it is embarrassing to know I've lived in ignorance for so long, when it is as simple as 123."
"Boy, I've paid fifty bucks and more for many things on the Internet since 1998, but this payment will go down in history as one of the best so far!"
"Thanks!"
"One more thought, Dan. Your original subject line, "blessings in disguise" was the hook for me, as anything having to do with "blessings", especially when it comes to emails, seems to be a rarity nowadays!"
"I think you know what I mean here, but let me express how true your subject line is for me...blessing, and with tears, I accept the blessing you have sent to me...for I have received it, and it has truly been a blessing as you wished it would be for me."
"That's a really cosmic thing for me right now, as I know it was a blessing sent at the right time, for the right guy, and when he needed it the most....please (keep up what you're doing), because it helped this guy, and surely it will help so many others."
--KS--
Sharon, when this situation was brought to my attention I was cut to the core...it really felt like a knife through the heart. I am truly, deeply, genuinely sorry for the pain we caused you. I will do everything in my power to see that it never happens again.
Respectfully,
Dan Hollister

After posting my ripoff report I did receive a call as well as a written apology and the refund did post to my account it full. The company's president repeated the offer for the personal consultation to be still available to me free and wished me the very best. Looks like after the right people in the company new of the issue they did the right thing.

I too purchased the CD. There were a lot of excellent motivational ideas and really good tips on it, I just happen to have an abundance of Bankers in my family so I was fortunate to know the tips already. Most wouldn't know about them unless they've had some type of background like that.
I did speak with Dan Hollister, very nice guy, very fair. I explained that the CD was GREAT, etc., but I explained the above. Dan was courteous, didn't question me AT ALL and refunded my money immediately.
I can't see how or why Dan wouldn't refund unless someone was outside of the timeframe or whatnot. To make a long story short, I had a great experience. If someone else didn't, there must be a reason because I don't see how someone can go from courteous and backing their money back guarantee to not, without good reason.
To the poster that says "We have all heard it", that's BS. I do know that I did get calls for a free consultation and the poster sounds like a real witch. How can this guy do his job when he actively calls to set up the promised consultation and he's told not to call again by the husband?
I'd definitely take this whiny posters post with a huge grain of salt. Dan Hollister was very christianlike. Maybe the difference with me and him, versus the poster and him, was that I treated him in a like manner and didn't whine, cry and tell him not to call me again.
