I ordered furniture at the end of October. The sales person advised me the furniture would be delivered the following week. That week a person from Value city called and left a message indicating the delivery had been delayed for two weeks.
Two weeks later, still no entertainment center that I had paid cash for. I called the store, an employee advised me my entertainment center was being shipped from China via boat and that it would be arriving early December.
LATE December, I again call Value city and speak to the manager. She promised to have delivery by January 6th. January 5th, I get a call from another employee that asked I take delivery of half of my entertainment center and stated the other half would arrive in 3-4 weeks!
I told her I don't want half of an entertainment center at which point she advised me if I don't take delivery of half the entertainment center, chances are it will be delivered to someone else, thereby delaying my order more. Now these people had a couple grand of my money and were treating me like this.
eedless to say, I canelled my order and will never do business with that shady outfit again. I still have yet to have my money credited back to my bank so that may be a whole other nightmare. Do yourselves a favor and don't put yourself through the stress of dealing with Value City.
