On 5/7/04 I went in to Lou's spot hair salon to get a perm, my hair was shoulder length and Donna gave me a haircut and perm, it was more like a loose perm, okay so 6-8 weeks later went in for the recommended trim and expressed to Donna that the top of hair entire crown area was 1/2 straight compared to rest she said cutting it would help, so we did. 3 1/2 months from perm I went back again and spoke with owner she said that Donna was only working on Saturdays, and schedule me for 2 weeks, Donna called and cancelled rebboked.
Lou the owner told me if I need a haircut that was extra I showed her my hair and didnt need any more cutting. Day before appointment Donna phones and repeats harshly if you need a haircut its extra and you have to pay for the products for her to redo and that perms only last up top for 3 months as hair growes 1/2inch month, told her I have had perms all my life and they last at least 9months.
They were rude and told me go somewhere else I told them why should I have to pay additional when I payed close to $100.00 not including tip. They rudely hung up. I have never been treated like this before.
Lou got on phone said I was complainng 6 months later for the 1st time that wasnt true I told her look in appt book.
So if anyone has suggestions or if I am wrong expecting perm to last longer let me know. I do have thick hair. I have a friend who is a hairdresser in England she looked at my hair when she cut it and said that the top part was not throughly down.
