I went to bally total fitness to inquire about a membership. I was told that I could have a friend. relative or a roommate join on my membership for only $9 extra per month. I told the guy that my roommate was interested in joining my membership, he said great. Later on, when I tried to add my roommate I was told by another bally worker that my roommate could not join. Only spouses were allowed to be added for that special rate.
The next thing that irritated me was when I emailed the customer support to inquire about cancelling the membership. I got a new job at a big company that offers free access to the company gym. I was told that my request to cancel the membership was denied and I was only in my 5th month, and I had to carry out the 24 month contract. how ridiculous.
