On the night of 09/11/07 I found one of my two water heaters was broken; called in claim to First American. The first contractor assigned was 4H Drain Doctor 623-322-0214 They were to show on 09/13/07, no call no show.
The claim was then re-assigned to 24 Hour Plumbing they came out 09/15/07 and completed a work order for replacement that First American denied as improper installation. Per Theresa at 24 Hour that was not said to First American. I called First American and they said it was installed incorrectly. I advised had other unit replaced in 2005 and that was approved, so what was different?
On 09/18/07 I kept trying to talk with someone who would listen to me, and left a message with a supervisor voice mail at ext. 2591. I stated would be filing suit and charging $200 per day.
09/20/07 Theresa from 24 hour left message that First Am would now pay claim. Scheduled Friday between 11-1.
09/21/07 Jim from 24 hour said he would be late, asked for time he between 1:30 and 2. He left voicemail for me at 1:20 saying no one had been home and he would have to reschedule. I had not left, had been weeding he said knocked on screen and would not come back as he had 8 more calls. Sd nothing he cld do except come back after 3
09/23/07 Per First American, tech would not complete job due to a conflict. Pima from First American to get someone to call me back. Nothing.
09/24/07 Called in again. Talked to Michelle at ext 2469. Nothing has been done. Said that was being reassigned. Transferred to supervisor Kimberly at ext 2580. Recapped situation and after a long conversation, she said she would get the claim reassigned Came back on line and said would be reassigned to 4H drain Dr!! I said this is how problem started, they are a no show. Working on opt out figures. - $376.35 was offer. Cost minus there expenditure of $55. They would send check in 7-10 and then exclude the water heater. I asked if they expected me to take there word that they would be mailing a check??? She said yes. I said No. Said I would do no more calls, if my heater wasn’t replaced by Friday I was going thru with suit called Kim Telo from Real Estate division of First American at 714-250-6232 since I couldn't find any other numbers besides the general 800 number and she said this wasnt her division but she would get someone to call me back. She never did.
09/26/07 4H will not replace as the equipment does not have a housing/cover. Per John at 4H, 623-322-0214 I dont care if you like it or not. Called and left message with Sabrina at ext 4018 that would file suit on Friday. Email to City of Phoenix to verify code.
10/01/07 TT Aaron at City of Phoenix, outside water heaters do not require closeting.
As of 10/26/07, I have filed a small claim for $920.
