This is the 3rd time I have sent in a claim. The 1st was for out water and it was replaced in a reasonable amount of time. 2nd was for the heating unit in out attic also replaced in a reasonable amount of time.

This is our 3rd claim in 2 years and its for the condenser unit outside that does the A/C and heating. The year before when the contractor replaced the unit in the attic he recommended that the condensor unit be replaced, but since it was working "ok" at the time we didn't pursue it.

In December of '05 we started having problems with heating. Contractor came out looked at it and said it needs replacing it's too old. He put a booster on the compressor to tide us over. It worked for about 2 weeks. Called FAHW again they said they were sending someone else out for a 2nd opinion. We waited patiently.

No one showed up or called us to schedule an appointment. Called FAHW again and they sent the original contractor out and put another call into another contractor. The original contractor came out and said there was nothing he could do the unit needs replacing.

2nd contractor came out and said it needs replacing. Then a 3rd shows up and says the unit needs to recharged which the 1st contractor had already done 2 weeks prior.

The unit now has completely stopped running and we are in the dead of winter without heat. When I told FAHW that the unit was not running at all they stated that they would send someone out to look at it. I asked the customer service rep what we are supposed to do for heat. She said that they would get someone out Monday (today is Friday). Fine I said but what about heat. She told me that wasnt their problem.

I have asked twice now for a supervisor to call me. No return calls. I have sent them a long message on their web site regarding this issue and no response.

How many more contractors have to come out for this to get taken care of? Or is the warranty company just dragging their feet in hopes that the weather will warm up soon and we will forget about it until next year?
