The Nationwide Property Inspection also goes by Foreclosure Bank Inspector advertises for Contractors and Sub-contractors in mulit-cities to conduct inspections. They request each applicant to pay $89 for the background check and once they receive it they will mail out a Foreclosure Kit. Once an applicant gets the kit they have to complete a 60-question test, 10 questions on racial bias and an Availability form. The company then notifies an individual if they have been hired as a contractor or sub-contractor. I did everything the company requested to do.

When I called and spoke with Jay Vincent, owner, he informed me I would receive an application in the mail to become a sub-contractor. According to him the company doesn't call individuals to become sub-contractors they would have to call in and request to become a sub-contractor. However one of the supervisors informed they do ont mail applications instead you have to apply for auto insurance and send at least 100 letters to banks and attorneys who purchase foreclosured houses.

In the Foreclosure Kit it doesn't explain a sub-contractor has to sent out over 100 letters to get a response. This is very important information that other people should know about. They need to know in order to work with Nationwide Property Inspections you have to pay $89, then $200 for insurance, $39-50 to mail letters a week, parking fees to visit the courthouse on a weekly basis.

According to the website the cost of the background check has been reduced to $69.

When I requested a refund I was told that I would not be refunded $89.

Foreclosure Bank Inspection Company is a fair based company.

Foreclosure Bank Inspector - Lansing (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 12, 2008
Foreclosure Bank Inspection Company is a fair based company. We require all applicants to get their own drivers record, state and national background checks (records must be verified by their legal service or lawyer) or they can go through the third party company that we use. They do not have to go through the company that we use they have the option to get their records either way. Applicants must finish in the top four (out of 24 applications) to make our contractor position. The other applicants can start as a sub-contractor by getting a general liability insurance policy. Sub-contractors must find these inspections by following company information, included on our website or foreclosure kit we send them.

Please review the cashiers' checks for $14,000.00, $20,000.00, and $100,000.00; (On our Website) we pay our hired contractors with these cashiers' checks that we solicit, to complete these foreclosure inspections. The State Attorney Generals Offices in Michigan, Florida and North Carolina have our information. The Better Business Bureau's of Detroit (MI), Eastern Michigan, and Charlotte (NC), also have our information on file. All of this can be viewed on our website (most company's don't reveal this type of information.)

I am a certified Home Inspector and this is a disgrace. If you are legit show a list of your contractors and contacts(email), to verify you are a legit business. Those checks could be bogus, I can issue a pic of bigfoot does that make it legit?

IF "BIG FOOT" WANTED TO APPLY HE CAN ALSO SEND US A COPY OF HIS BACKGROUND CHECKS TO US T0. 98% OF APPLICANTS SUPPLY THEIR OWN BACKGROUND CHECKS, WE SAY 20 TIMES ON OUR WEBSITE AND IN ALL OUR ADVERTISEMENTS "TO SUPPLY YOUR OWN BACKGROUND CHECK."
YOU DON'T THINK WE CAN GET BIG CONTRACTS LIKE THIS-WHEN THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF FORECLOSED PROPERTIES IN EVERY CITY. SEE THE CONTRACTS FOR YOURSELF AT WWW.FORECLOSUREBANKINSPECTOR.COM
MOST COMPANIES DO NOT DISCLOSE THIS KIND OF INFORMATION BUT WE DO BECAUSE OF SKEPTICS LIKE YOURSELF. A SCAM CHARGES YOU FOR SOMETHING BUT WE DO NOT, WE JUST SAY PROVIDE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND CHECKS. WHY SHOULD WE PAY FOR BAD BACKGROUND CHECKS THAT WE RECEIVE THAT ARE BAD. PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEY HAVE A BAD BACKGORUND CHECK THEY APPLY ANY WAY AND WAS COSTING US MONEY, SO NOW WE TELL THEM TO SUPPLY THEIR OWN BACKGROUND CHECKS.
