upon applying for homeowners insurance through the hartford aarp homeowners insurance program, i was denied insurance because my two sons and i hunt on our property. this tells me that the hartford insurance company is a anti hunting group. i will pass this information on to the nahc, and the nra so that all other sportman do not support this company.

What is Liability?

When you obtain Homeowners insurance, Coverage E is not ommitted for any reason. What is Coverage E might you ask? Liability.

The Hartford company is not anti-gun or anti-hunting company. The hazard of hunting on the residence premises is a risk the company's underwriters do not want to right.

The Hartford is a preferred company, whose sometimes seemingly strict underwriting results in solid business. When an insurance company writes good business, it has the ability to serve its customers better by paying its claims promptly and accurately.
