EasyNameSale.com is running a total scam. They will e-mail domain owners telling them they are interested in buying their domain. The ask that it be appraised to confirm it's value. They then send you to a forum link with lots of people talking about recommended domain appraisal services. Later to be found out... these scammers own most of them all. You think the two have nothing to do with each other. After you order the appraisal and forward it to them the reply saying they will look for a buyer, as if they are a middleman/broker. That was never discussed before.

Granted, I was suspicious. I wasn't too worried because the appraisal was only $60, so I figured I didn't really have much to lose in trying.

Anyhow, they have a lot of aliases. Here are some names, e-mail addresses and domains I've found that are associated with this scam:

easynamesale.com
domainsecondhand.com

tgngroup@phreaker.net
info@domainsecondhand.com

John Slaughter
Shirley M. Leurquin

TGN Group

There is another link talking about this scam too. You can see how many people have been ripped off. I'm sure even more have been too.

I am lucky I didn't fall for this, after doing a simple search on aol, I found a website revealing it as a total scam. My tip off was the email address was from a very un-professional sounding website. (phreaker) Don't fall for it, folks!
