The site for Net Detective seems legitimate and prior to purchasing, services are expalined in detail. However, after you actually purchase the product you are made aware that to access certain information, you must purchase an advanced version. They save your credit card information and a little box pops up to okay it. However, you are never told that certain services require further payment, you aren't asked permission to save your credit card information, the terms/procedures are not fully explained, when you click the terms link it sends you to another ad and charges your credit card.
In addition, the "information" provided by the company is either grossly incorrect or completely outdated. You are not provided with the information they claim to provide prior to purchase. The company refuses to issue a refund for the additional charge and will only issue a refund for the initial charge after you send a refund request to the company by mail.
