I had signed up for a 3-month subscription plan on NarutoFan, and was under the impression that when the 3-month period ended, so would the charges to my credit card. Without my consent, they continued to bill my credit card -- without ever notifying me about doing so.

After checking with Paypal, I realized that my 3-month plan had changed, and now my subscription terms stated "$19.92 USD for each 4 months". However, this is not what happened -- my credit card was charged different amounts each month; sometimes twenty dollars, another time it was fourteen dollars, and once it was only nine dollars.

Conveniently enough for them, the only actions you can take on their website concerning your account is either to order a new subscription, or renew an old one; there was no way to cancel an on-going subscription. Irritated, I filed a support request and politely asked one of the owners to cancel my subscription. The next day I noticed that my form had been closed, and later it was deleted without any response. I figured they had closed my account at this point -- but I was wrong.

Suddenly I was getting letters from my credit union informing me that I had been going over the limit on my credit card. I was completely confused, since I always kept track of my checkbook. After getting a printout of my credit card statement, I found more charges from NarutoFan -- even after I had messaged the owners directly to cancel the subscription. After a long talk with an employee at my credit union, she suggested that I cancel my current credit card and get a new one, which I did.

I Googled my situation and found out that many other people were having the same exact problem as I was. The thing that annoys me the most is that the website owners make it almost impossible to cancel a subscription, and actually go to the length of ignoring all private forms and messages regarding the subject of cancellation. I had heard the only way to end your subscription is through Paypal, but after looking high and low, I found no option to do so.

Personally, I believe this website should be shut down immediately. The owners are nothing but scam-artists who steal money from their members credit cards.
