In spite of this, if a customer is in a contract because of taking the free domain and change their mind, we will usually work with them. If they would like to cancel we will meet them half way. However in the case of Marcia, she was so rude and foul with all of our staff that we followed completely through out of principle. I won't even post her emails on this site because I'm sure Ripoffreport has a rule about bad language. Never in 7 years worth of business have we ever had a client use such foul and threatening language as she did. She even went to the better business bureau. When they reviewed our terms and conditions, she didn't get anywhere with them, so she decided to post her false allegations on Ripoffreport.com.
Her post is full of falsehoods. We never take 2 days to get back to our clients. The maximum times are 8 hours and everything is usually taken care of in 2-4 hours. She is using false information about this in an attempt to make our company look bad. Another example is her comments about EShop. The EShop page is not an extra 20 dollars a month. The plan she chose is $19.95 a month in total. She really needs to get her facts straight before posting. We have 24/7 telephone support. If she was waiting for 2 days for a response you think she would have picked up the phone.
If you sign up with a cell phone provider and take a free phone you are usually in a 3 year contract. Are they con artists? I don't think so. We do all that we can do to make sure our clients read the terms and conditions before they sign up for our services. In this case, she did click yes to reading them because our order system will not complete unless the "Yes" box is checked. I have a 13 year old niece that has created a website using our online site designer. That's how easy it is. Marcia did pretty well as you can see for yourself at www.marciasmarket.ca. In the end, we even gave her the EShop upgrade for free - just to try to settle her down.
