My husband purchased my wedding ring at Belden Jewelers 3.5 years ago. December 20, 2007, Belden shipped my wedding ring out to be repaired. My center diamond had a fracture in it. The promise date to be returned was January 20, 2008 and I still dont have my ring as of March 17 2008!!!

Here's the story:

I have been calling since January 20th and they have been giving me a story telling me my ring is still not ready and is being worked on.

Finally February 29 I got to speak to the district manager and told me my ring could NOT be located and he would have another one made for me (as if it were no big deal!).

My husband and I exchanged this ring on our wedding day and it has sentimental value to us.

The district manager told me and my husband to come in the store the next day to meet with him and show him how I would like my band he will give it to us for free of charge for being inconvenienced. We went in and showed him.
We still werent OK with the fact they lost my ring and I told him I was going to seek legal advice.

On Tuesday I got a call from the store manager and he told me they located my wedding ring!! I was ecstatic! The ring was shipped to the store on Wednesday and I quickly went in to see it. It looked just like my ring and everything. I put the ring on and it didnt even fit! They had a new ring made and is trying to make me believe that it is my original, I am 100% sure of it.

The only work they were doing to my ring is taking the center diamond out and putting a new one in. THATS IT! Why would my ring not fit my finger when I've had my ring for 3.5 years! Belden had my ring for 3 months and they told me I must have gained weight...LOL! The manager that originally sent my ring out left the size blank so they must have taken the last size on record from years ago. And to add insult to injury, the new diamond they gave me has a fracture in it!!!! They didnt even give me a good diamond. Back to the drawing board!

I told them they are dishonest and Im going to blast them around town! They wont admit it but they know I know, Even the regular employees there know what they've done!!! I put a complaint in with corporate and they were suppose to get back to me after their so called investigation no later than Friday and STILL no call. The district manager was suppose to call me last Wednesday still no call. The district manager isnt giving us a band for free anymore either. He says he will give us a "Good Deal" on a band!! LMAO!! Please dont do us no favors, we wont be spending another $6,000 a on a piece of jewlery again with them!

They are lieing about what stores my ring was actually shipped out to....they are saying they cant find my paperwork and they wont tell me what company my ring was shipped out with (UPS, Fed-Ex etc.). Belden will lie for Belden BUT Fed Ex wont lie for them! I truly feel the public should know who they are REALLY doing business with dont you??

I will have to sue them now to get my money back!
