I cannot vouch for the Oklahoma attorneys, but this case sounds like a script from a book and very suspicious. If everything described really happened to this person, it would be pretty easy to prove it, wouldn't it?
I am an employee AND a subscriber to PPL and love it. Even if I was not an employee, I would continue to be a member. Here is what PPL has done for me so far, and the money they've saved me:
1) Writing a Will (Money Saved: $1000-note they do your will for FREE with membrsp)
2) Wrote a letter to stop collectors for bills I paid long ago from ruining my credit and allowed me to qualify for a lower mortgage rate. Money Saved: thousands
3) Wrote a letter to obtain money back from a car repair shop that ruined my oilpan during simple oil change. Money Saved: $700
PPL will also go to court if you get a traffic ticket at no extra cost, and do so much more. I feel that based on my experience and that of many others, that there is no basis for the ridiculous comments from this person.

First off, its been 4 years so I'm not sure why are you still whining over this issue. But I have read your comment and its not making much sense
1. Why would one of our provider attorneys or a doctor need to bribe you for??? All of the provider firms are paid by Pre-Paid Legal Services....not you. That's the whole purpose of having PPL to begin with...so you don't have to.
2. You say that the attorney stepped down from your case but then you stated that he told the main office that you made a threat against him. If that was the case, then obviously he would have dropped you.
3. You complained about a doctor checking you out but its a worker's comp case. Well, they are suppose to check you out and again, I cannot see the purpose of a bribe for the doctor.
Regardless of your complaints, if you don't like the service then you can cancel anytime and go get your own attorney which is something you haven't done because your whining about the case being 5 years old. Its problably because you don't have the money for one.
Your best bet is to forget about your workers comp case and move on with your life

Prepaid legal referred me to Diane Berlin on a injury at work. Both she and the other attorney Vanessa Henderson were polite and treated me with respect. I liked them. They sent me to doctors and never charged me a dime.
I asked them about money and they told me not to worry. they don't get paid until the case is done then they get a percentage of the final amount i got. they were worth it. what you say makes no sense to me.

I am sorry you had a bad experience, but if your case is 5 years old, how come it took you this long to file a complaint?
If you were not satisfied with the attorney service, why did you not complain to PPL? If you say you did, I don't believe you because when you do complain of poor service, you are immediately replaced with a new attorney with no charge if applicable. Either way, you are cared for with your case by whatever new firm you are assigned with ppl. We are legal brokers, not a legal firm. We cannot provide any law advice except connect you with a network of attorneys that we hare reviewed and rated top quality. And considering that these attorneys are paid handsomely by us, this results in NO FAKE ATTORNEYS because they are already paid very well, and don't need to try to "scam" you for money.
And we "ramble" because we try to make sure you understand your membership before you quit for no reason. The lady was simply doing her job on trying to keep you on board.
Second I encourage you to next time take responsibility for your own actions. Therefore, this is not a rip off report, this is simply an falsified opinionated claim with no evidence and no real back story. You are mad because you didn't bother to take responsibility for yourself and take the time to understand any legalities and the membership itself.
I wish you the best luck in the future.

No $26 dollar a month prepaid legal plan could realistically help you with a complex worker's comp case....

I have 20 yrs legal experience - dont tell who these attys are unless you know them personally. I have had a very small problem, easily resolved w/ atty contact - the very reason I paid the dues! And they still couldnt deliver - and I am looking for others involved! I am an associate, have sold memberships under the assumption that the basic representation would be provided - wasnt worried how much I made - truly believed that this product would provide some level of legal support ----and not in criminal, preexisting, work comp, family law - but in some very basic manner - LETTER WRITING! And it became so difficult to even get that done! There are multiple remedies for companies involved in this kind of deception - and its time the numbers speak up. I didnt realize how many people were unhappy with this service until I looked around. This is not a cheap service even though it is sold as one - it should not be compared to a legal service as one writer described - it apparently wants to assume a "LEGAL BROKER" position -- THUS MAKING THIS EXTREMELY OVERPRICED FOR A BROKERS SERVICE WHEN YOU CAN GET IT FOR FREE ON THE INTERNET!
If you have had a problem with PPL regarding any contracted service, please info on this site and we will connect.
