Lonny & Deanna Smith sold extremely unsafe horse as being Kid Safe Monee Illinois

Lonny & Deanna Smith advertised a horse for sale on many websites as being a kid safe horse that was great for any level of rider. Being only a block away from me and parents of small children themselves, I trusted that this horse would be kid safe.

After purchasing the horse and bringing him home, I had my husband get on the horse first, to be sure the kids would be fine with him. The horse spun around in circles, through his head around, and bolted, jumping a compost pile along the way.

I immediately contacted Lonny to tell him how the horse acted and asked to return the horse because I did not feel that this horse was safe for my children. He said, "I would take the horse back and give you your money back, but I already purchased another horse and I don't have room in my barn." I felt that his personal situation of not having enough room was irrelevant to the fact that he made a fraudulent sale that endangered the lives of my children. I had a professional trainer ride him also, and he said that the horse is in no way safe for a child to ride.
