For two months I ask my friends to myspace,theatre class,my daughters high school friends and others friends to register,visit the site and vote for me.They where very supportive and many of them voted everyday.I made it to the semifinals.Then More ask the readers to vote everyday and that will help them chose the 5 finalists and eventually a winner.The finalist where chosen on Sep 15,2008.
When this phase of the contest was over I was number one with 998 votes,the second runner up had about 815 and the third about 725,the lady that follow had 680.None of this contestants,including myself and 998 votes,made it to the finals.The finalist that where selected and made to the final had 5 to 30 votes.No explanations.Except that the votes counted for 33% of the contest.
Mrs Wendy More ripoff thousand of woman of their time they took everyday to vote for their favorites and then laugh at them.If you visit the site you will be able to read the angry blog about this contest.I personally lost many nights of sleep and talk to many people,did my politics and had my hopes up with 998 votes.
Mrs Wendy More lies,cheats and play dirty tricks just to sell magazines.She did it this time and in time she will do it again.No respect for her readers or the public in general.Is sad that Mrs.Jaime Lee Curtis image and name was lend for this fiasco.Time is a gift and no one has the right to waisted anyones time.Life is to short for time to be waisted.Trust is hard to build and I and many other woman trusted Mrs Wendy More and her magazine.Iam no longer a subscriber.
