Fast Cash Personal Loans, Apple Payday, Apple Corp, Apple Fast Cash ripoff, CONSTANT HARASSMENT, DISHONEST, RUDE, COLLECTION TACTICS ILLEGAL!! Wilmington Delaware

September 2004, I got a $400 loan from Apple Fast Cash Personal Loans to help catch up a car payment I had fallen behind on. I know this was a stupid move and I will never do it again.

I made all my payments as per the agreement, but they kept debiting my checking account into December. I called them December 20 and asked why they were still taking payments from my checking account and I was informed I still owed them $156.00. Now how could this be when I paid them $787 for a $400 loan? I was told that only $10 was taken from each payment of $88 for the principle. I told them no way could there still be a balance. They argued I still owed $156 on the principle.

I could see that talking to them was like trying to talk to a brick wall. I contacted my attorney and was advised to close my checking account to stop the debits. I did and never heard anymore from them until my landlord called me on March 28, 2005 that they had contacted him about the balance still owing. How they got his name and number I will never know. I called the number they gave to him and found it was a collection agency called American Legal in Jacksonville Florida. I talked to a Billy Black there and I was told that I now owed over $500. I told him no way that I had proof that I had paid the loan principle and he then came back with well then this is interest you owe.

I asked him how it could be interest I owe when the principle was paid last November. He asked would I like to do a check by phone to clear this up? I told him there was nothing to clear up the loan was paid and they weren't getting another dime from me. He started yelling that I was refusing to pay and they were going to ruin my credit and hung up on me.

Now, Apple Corp is harassing my daughter all hours of the day and night demanding she contact me immediately and urge me to settle this matter or further action will be taken and they call every 15 minutes during the day harassing my wife. I was stupid to do this in the first place, but I hope this will stop others from borrowing from these crooks and going through the hell they are putting me through.
