I applied for a bad credit loan via the internet, within a couple of days recieved a phone call from one named "Frank Baldizzi of Rockwood Financial Group" stating that I am approved for a 10,000 dollar loan. "Frank" explains the terms and conditions of loan and says that I am in need of a fax machine so that I may go over the contract and loan details.
Recieved a fax from Rockwood Financial Group with the loan details stating that I need to make a pre-payment of 964.95 dollars and sign/fax contract back to "Frank" in order to process loan. Included with package faxed back to "Frank" was a copy of voided bank check and copy of drivers' license.
I then went ahead and completed/faxed everything to "Frank" and was given directions to moneygram pre-payment to one named "James Hozian" in Canada due to explanation from "Frank" that funds for loan were coming from a Canadian banking firm or so-called angel lenders. Money grammed the pre-payment in which turned out to be my whole paycheck and was due to recieve loan amount of 10,000 dollars in bank account within 24 hours.
24 hours pass, Mr. Frank Baldizzi calls approximately at 10am PST to check if funds have "passed through" and funded my bank account. I told him that it did not. He called back saying that file was put back on his desk due to the bank firm wanting more pre-payment in order to process the loan.
I told him that I do not have the funds to fulfill the rest of pre-payment due to that I pretty much spent my whole paycheck for pre-payment and moneygram fee so I was given the option to ask for refund and so I opted for a refund. Frank Baldizzi says refund check will arrive in 15 to 20 business days. It never came. I tried calling the number given to me in order to contact Mr. Frank Baldizzi/Rockwood Financial Group but automated voice simply says, "Thank you, Goodbye."
I still have all documents sent or recieved from Frank Baldizzi of Rockwood Financial Group, documents from moneygram and looking to get my money back. Please Help!
