I see I am not the only one who has been attacked here. I got a notice from my bank that my account was overdrawn. I was bouncing checks. I checked my statement and discovered I was charged $63.26 for magazines. I contacted the company and cancelled my subscription....so I thought. In the mean time I received two more withdraws from two other magazine companies. After all the insufficient fund charges, bounced check charges and bank charges, my bank ballance is now -$486.44. I couldn't even close my account until I put this amount in the bank! Well I broke down, bit the bullet and borrowed the money to get my account to zero and closed it out. 4 days later I received this notice from Consolidated Media Services....

"Dear Laurie McGuinness,

We have been informed that your credit card payment has been rejected in the amount of: $63.26.

Please be advised that your accou7nt calls for you to make monthly payments via credit card. We reconize your credit status with us is important. please use the enclosed envelope for payment. in order to get your account current, we suggest you make two payments. Simply return the bottom portion of this letter within 14 days of the above date. if you already made arrangements to pay the above amount, thank you.

PLEASE SEND US YOUR CHECK TODAY!"

My account ballance with them also reads $569.34.

I never recall anyone contacting me about any magazines and I have no idea how they got my information. I do receive several magazine I have never heard of and will never read.

If you ever hear of this company name...STAY AWAY!!!!
