I, too, have received an outlandish letter that looks entirely proffessional. It has an un-cashable check attached to it with perforation as to make you believe it's real at first glance.

My winnings are exactly $612,444.89 but they mention they will need some assesssment and processing fees of $21.96, security and delivery fees of $5.00...totally $26.96.

They go so far as to say I've already to won and that they will not be held liable for checks delivered to the wrong address. They also try to distract your attention to this fact by giving you a special little area to amend your address if they've got your address wrong to begin with...how nice.

People, please. If this isn't an obvious scam, I don't know what is. By the way...I tried to Google Brent T. North's name and came up with nothing! (imagine that). He says he's the Cheif Executive Officer...heh-heh, yeah okay!

After reading the front page of the award offer, turn the page over to the back. This verbiage deals w/ the "No purchase necessary... " clause. Here you are asked to send the Award Voucher in your own envelope, not the enclosed return envelope. And to a slightly altered address. This new address is identified as PMB or Private Mail Box, a definite SCAM give-away. There is also a different $ award calculation to be applied.

All this makes for easier sorting, i.e. "the money is in the return envelopes"! Send $0.79 [Odds:1:1] to the non return envelope offerings.

An additional indicator is the mailing envelope. The mailing postage is $00.257, Presorted Standard rate. Cheap and unprofessional.
