Here is a way to protect yourself from any predatory lender.The first thing you do is goto the post office get the green and white cards and the green and black cards for certified mail. then you make out your payment like you always do but on the envelope you place the green and white certified sticker on the envelope with the servicers address (this will show the servicers address and the tracking# for the piece of mail).Now Write out your check, then you copy the envelope and the check on a piece of paper remember you have to leave room for the returned certified card(the green and black one)because you will have to copy it also.Now put the check in the envelope and goto the post office and fill out the return card (do not attach it will cost more to mail) goto the window and mail the letter certified with the signature return, you will get a stub hang on to the stub this is the reciept with you tracking #.

Now sit tight for 2 to 3 weeks you should get the signed card from the servicer,get the copy of the check and envelope and coppy it all on one piece of paper.(it is a tight fit but it can be done) Now goto your bank have the sheet of paper notarized . Now you should take a magic marker cross the account number and the bank routing number.Now goto the courthouse and tell the clerk of courts you want to enter it as an affidavit into public record

Now if your servicer states your payments are late all you do is call the costomer service dept and nicely that you think they are doing a crappy job of there bookkeeping and you thought you would help them out a bit, now make a copyof the sheet showing all theinfo on it send it to them with a explanation stating that because your company cannot keep good records you will be sending all the info to the courthouse as public records every month. Then tell them if they have any questions about your payment all they have to do is contact the courthouse(give them the phone # and the address)and they should direct any questions to the clerk of courts
