We re-mortgaged our home with Ameriquest and had our closing on the 20th of December 2002. We were told everything would be taken care of before the end of 2002. It was not until January 14, 2003 before any checks were distributed to my creditors.
At this point late charges and more interest had accured, not to mention more strikes against our credit. A payment that is automatically withdrawn from my account was taken out on January 6th, this is how we found out that everything was not fine. We were not expecting this payment to be taken out of our account,it was to have been paid off 12/31. This caused our checking account to overdraft on three items thus costing us 29 dollars for each item. They have not been very helpful to us.
When we call to talk to Alisha to find out the statis, she is always in a meeting, on the phone or not in the office yet. We leave messages for her to call us back and she does not. This is now over a month and we want some resolution. The service has been less than professional. We should not have to call them everyday to find out if they are going to fix this problem. It was there negligence not ours. I would never recommend them to anyone. We have emailed what we beleive to be their main headquarters in California, but have gotten not response from them either.
