It has been several more months since my last report. They still have not resolved any issues, even after 4 QUALIFIED WRITTEN REQUESTS WHICH THEY ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO ANSWER. They send form letters with no resolution.
I STILL HAVE NOT SEEN A STATEMENT FROM THEM IN SIX MONTHS!!!!!
They say statements are a "courtesy"!!!! Tell that to your credit card companies!! Where would we all be if we never got any credit card statements to pay from that show you what you owe!! Their own website says you will get a monthly statement.
They purposefully lose and delay payments to assess late charges so you have to pay $9.95 at the last minute to make a payment so you won't be late because they claim they never received your payment. Suddenly, the original payment turns up the next day - 3 weeks later!! I have exhausted all avenues and I am totally fed up with them!!! They are a nightmare!!!
I AM SEEKING OTHER PEOPLE WITH SIMILAR STORIES, OF WHICH I SEE THERE ARE MANY, TO INITIATE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT!!!!!!

I am having a similar prob. with this same co. 5 yrs ago my hubby and I took over payments on my mother-in-laws house since she was moving out of state to take care of her elderly mother. We left the loan in her name. At that time it was UC Lending. A 1 year later we get a letter from UC lending saying they are filing banckruptcy and are selling our loan to EMC. We did not get a statement for 6 months. I had to call numerous numbers just to get the payment made. At which time my husband had been laid off and I had to get on a deffered payment plan. Find and dandy that was until they told me they wouldn't accept payment from me since I am not the homeowner. When my mother-in-law left she wrote them letters explaining that we would be making payments for her, and sent it certified mail. EMC keeps telling me that they won't accept payment from me. I then would have to call my mother-in-law in a different time-zone and have her call them to ok it. This went on evey month for months. Now all I get is a payment reciept and nothing else. No statement, no bill nothing as to what we owe. My mother-in-law applied for a loan and her credit report had stated that our house had been repoed. We had no knowledge or any kind of information regarding this. She called them and they said that it was not in foreclosure and had not been repoed. She wants it off her credit report and they said they would have to review her loan history and would get back to her in 60 days. I still havne't gotten a statement in 2 yrs. How do we find out what we owe and how much we over-paid? and how do we get it back?
