I currently have a mortgage with WAMU and a business bank account. Wanting to take advanteg of the low rates, I decided to select WAMU as the lender to handle a refi...thinking it would be quick and painless....that was 6 MONTHS AGO!!!
After repeated calls around month 2 and 3 I was told it would close at the end of the month and then they just kept stringing me along from month to month with promise of a "couple more weeks".
I should have yanked it long ago but kept hoping that it was true.
Given the fact they were the orginal lender - you don't think they see how much interest they are going to lose do you ??? In the meantime, I'm still paying that higher interest.
